So, here it is. That big, tall piece I was telling everyone about in a recent journal of mine.
That's me sitting in the front (for the record, my hair has grown a bit since I made this). Jackal is peering right behind me. The ninja babe is Rachel (look back in my gallery, she's there twice). I decided to go with the more anatomically correct Rachel, even though her design I use now is my usual "chibi-ish" style. Underneath her arm is Howard (dressed similar to me) leering at Kitty, both from Snailsvenue. Behind Rachel and her plume of smoke is a tall Silhou, or basically and antifairy, from Jackal's universe. Youv'e never seen any of them before. Now you have. Perrin is the guy in pink, pointing up at his comrade, Ari, who is lusting at Rachel, as Tera, Perrins other comrade, is looking at Ari in shame and scorn. These three are cousins. Behind Tera is Landon, probably wondering where Kitty is (as I almost exclusively draw Landon with Kitty peering out from his backpack). Behind Ari are Harley and Wendy (Wendy sporting a new, and as always temporary hairstyle). The giant pink thing is Ink the bear, a rock and rolling woodland beast who you recently saw in a character sheet I posted (I think last month). And finally, there is Pandor, the infant gate to an evil dimension, with demons poking out from the back of his throat.
Yeah, that sums it up.
Adobe Illustrator CS, about 25-30 hours. Longest Iv'e probably ever spent on a piece.
Nice one... You should work for the artist of pro game magazines, your style of illustrations sticks perfect for them! Your ways of laying out everything hits the eyes right on the spot too!
Lol you're just sitting in front going: Man I got the coolest shave in this whole picture, that guy above me's got nothing on my beard : )}

Seriously, your work with vectores never ceases to astound me. And people ask ME for a tutorial haha. Obviously they haven't seen your work

Yeah, I agree. I think the hours I spent certainly paid off.
Yep, Ink is indeed a hard rocking bear. I've been sketching some animal characters as his friends/bandmates recently. They look as interesting as he does. ^_^

I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
