A sort of continuation of [link] most of these are side characters/villains (with the exception of Perrin in his combat out fit, if you want to call it that).
I only say "Kinetic" in the title because that's what the folder is called on my computer. ;D
From the left:
Perrin McPowell (combat mode): Perrin's combat outfit, made by his cousin Tera, mostly from socks. It's incredibly lightweight, flexible, and even has points that can be unzipped. If you want to know more about Perrin, see the aforementioned deviation.
Perrin McPowell (with a sword): Perrin took fencing lessons at a young age. He uses them surprisingly well, even to this day. ;D
Jovilee June: An assassin who works for anyone who is willing to pay. She's not technically a "bad guy," per say, but she's definitely not a "good guy," either. She isn't psychic or magic, but instead a superhuman (though her ability has yet to be determined). She does not work alone - her partner (both professionally and potentially romantically), Tor, is always by her side.
Pygmy Demon: just some random tiny skeleton devil. I don't like this concept so much, but I figured I'd post it on here anyway.
Nameless Villain: It's sad when what is poised to be your main villain is currently nameless. I think I have it written down somewhere - it's one I came up with, actually - but I can't remember it. Anyway, she's bad news. She acts as more of a terrorist than a straight up villain, and is very active in her evil-doings. She's often referred to as "The Red Collar." She's a super-psychic, meaning that she has fully mastered at least 5 psychic abilities (most are only able to specialize in one ability).
E.K. (Electronic Kid, tentatively): An impressionable 16-year-old super human with the ability to control digital information. He can send emails, hack systems, create images, program machines, etc. with nothing more than the will of his mind. He is what is called a "nameless" supernatural, as he is not officially affiliated with the rest of the supernatural community because his parents are completely normal. The Red Collar and her cohorts "kidnap" him and convince him that their cause is the right thing to do. Having never had friends, he accepts his new role despite the strict condition that he must never see his parents again (after all, he's supposed to be missing).
So yeah, there you have it. These concepts were created in some of my free time. I hope you like them!
I LOVE your style. It is so damn unique! I like all of their giant heads and tiny bodies...it gives them almost a bobble-head feel. My favorite of this series of drawings would have to be Jovilee. She has so much attitude and those tattoos and the haircut really show off her personality well.
Aside from Perrin (he's my main character, after all), I also like Jovilee a lot. The Red Collar and E.K. are still largely undeveloped and the pygmy skeleton is pants, but Jovilee feels a little bit more...fleshed out, if you will.

Strange, I don't think she'll technically have one, but she was inspired by a Metal Gear Solid character (mostly in her appearance), Nastasha Romanenko (I think that was her name), who is Ukrainian with the accent and all. For some reason, the characters' face stuck with me so I decided to let it inspire me.

Hehehe, I love the costume made from socks I also agree with Grimcinder, your style is teh awesome. I love how sketchy and free it is XD if I tried to do something like that it'd look like the dog drew it The pygmy demon rocks my socks btw, it's oddly cute in a freaky way. (but then again, I'm a very strange girl....) Great job!
I love the Pygmy Demon! It seems like something you spot in a dark alley and shout "Shoot it in the head! Shoot it in the head!" ahaha I'm sure you'll think of a name that will stick for Red Collar, maybe the word "red" in another language?
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
