I've recently been incredibly infatuated with the Xbox 360 title, Mass Effect. It's such an immersive experience with beautiful visuals and graphics, top-notch voice acting, and fun, addictive combat. When I'm done with it, don't be surprised if I write a review of it in my journal, I'm that much in love with the game.
There is one major problem with the game, though.
The elevators are extremely slow. Like, the the first elevator made to carry humans was probably ten times faster.
I understand that the elevators are probably meant to hide load times, and it's neat to hear your characters chat and hear the news when your in an elevator, but they are entirely too slow.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure the game takes place in the 2160s, but I just said 2100s to be safe (as it's more all-encompassing).
And I suppose that's me in the elevator as an Alliance soldier. I hadn't really thought about it. Still, you can customize your character's physical appearance so much before starting a new game, I wouldn't be surprised to get this result if I tried hard enough. I've already rendered the face on the front cover of the box completely obsolete before. ;D
This probably took about 30 minutes, and don't be surprised if it heads over to my scraps pretty soon, but I just thought some of you who have played the game might relate. Plus, I haven't submitted a proper deviation in a while, and I figured this could pass for now.
It's obviously because in the future, Time and Space don't exist as we know it and the only way to transverse through the different sections of such, you have to take an elevator.

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
