Hey guys!
Here's my filled-out version of my Mega Man Meme (the blank version of which can be found here: [link] in my scraps). I hope you like reading through it! I worked on filling this out on and off for about two weeks now. I wanted to post this and the blank version together so I could set some degree of an example. Believe me, though, with my inactivity lately, I was tempted to just post the blank one and "get to this one later" (psh, yeah, that'd never happen and we all know it). Glad I finished it. I had so much fun filling it out! And for what it's worth, I'm absolutely in love with my interpretation of Mega Man. He's so neat, I think! But my Knight Man feels a bit over-designed. Oh well, these things happen. And I must restate this in my comments: Roll is so hardcore. I gave her a beam sword in the spirit of Zero, since Proto Man - considered Zero's predecessor - doesn't actually have one, and the long blond hair just made it the obvious choice. Feel free to grab the blank one and fill it out yourself. Like I said, just let me know that you filled it out so I can see it. Full View and enjoy! Meme created in Illustrator CS, answers created in Photoshop CS, time taken: forever. |

I'm glad your endurance held true and you got done with filling it in.. we all know you wouldn't have done it otherwise. haha
I think my favorite part is the box art, thats really neat. And dare I say alittle different from what we're used to seeing from you. Did you plan on making it look different? Its like, more realistic or something..

The reason behind the semi-realistic box art is actually quite funny. The question asks the person filling out the meme to draw their own horrible Mega Man box art because the American box art for the first two Mega Man titles are often cited as being some of the worst in gaming history:

They dramatically misrepresent the games inside of the box, and that's why they are so funny. With my answer to that question, I wanted to do something painterly and sort of realistic-looking to capture the spirit of the atrocious box arts of yore. In fact, I did absolutely no sketching or preplanning for that answer because I wanted to ensure it was terrible: I just went with the flow. Thankfully, Mega Man came out looking like a 40-year-old alcoholic who had attended a costume party the night before and woke up with a hangover and an unenthusiastic expression, which is perfect! ;D

Some people are like slinkies: worthless, but they can be fun to push down the stairs.

But it is really funny, you love that game so much and yet thats what they came up with. XD
If they ever did something that horrible for tombraider.. I'd cry.
Haha, you wanted him to look drunk and costume-esque? XD
Thats not very nice. But I strangely enjoyed your version.. maybe its the psycho in me again XD

Your style looks damn great on these *__*
might have an inaccuracy or two to it.. the humor should mask it a bit
