LATE!

NOTE: My typing is a bit off tonight, since I'm a little brain dead after working on this all day since getting off of work. So bear with my garbled mess of a comment.

Alright, I'm a little bit miffed. It's no longer October 31st, and my grand finale villain for Villain Month will appear to have been submitted on November 1st, which is, like, Turkey Month or something. Wily isn't a turkey.

Anyway, I finished this about an hour late. I got home from work around 5:40 PM, ate a sandwich and went to work on this at around 6:30. So for a solid 6 hours today, I've been coloring this. And I use the term "nightmare" often, but I think it strongly applies here. XD

For day #31 of Villain Month, I give you Dr. Wily and the original DRN crew from Mega Man - the very first game, that is. They have all been redesigned because, hey, I felt like it.

From the bottom to the top:

Dr. Wily: Mega Man's arch nemesis, Dr. Wily is a robotics genius who happens to be quite evil. I mentioned some nano-technology stuff in my early Villain Month images, and you can see the result of an experiment gone awry: his eye has been taken over, and it seems the robotic virus is working on the rest of his face.

Guts man: Known for his ability to lift very heavy, very large objects. When he jumps, he temporarily stuns you with the earthquake his landing creates. I went for a skeletal look here, though I must admit he looks a bit like Iron Man. ;D

Cut Man: a logging drone, able to use his sharp shears to cut through just about anything. He was the first Villain month submission, so let's consider this full circle. Go here to learn more about him: [link]

Ice Man: An arctic exploration robot. Ice Man is powered by an inner-heating system to keep all of his parts from freezing. Even though fire seems like the best option to kill a guy named "Ice Man," this would really only serve to warm him up. The only way to dispose of this chilly bot is to short circuit his heating system using the ability you would get from...

Elec Man: A robot capable of tinkering with dangerous technology that humans would otherwise get killed trying to fix, Elec Man can also surge electricity into broken machines and robots to power them upon being fixed. I've always hated Elec Man - his original design is kind of stupid and he's extremely hard to kill in the game. I chose to go with something that was a little harder to relate to; a light bulb.

Bomb Man: The only practical application of a "bomb man" would be a war machine, so that's what I did. He's basically a tank with AI. He was my least favorite to vector, but I'm glad I was able to retain the Mohawk and round shape without him looking too goofy.

Fire Man: An incinerator drone. Exactly what he incinerates is kind of beyond me, but he incinerates nonetheless. I wanted something very devilish-looking, so I gave him an all-black motif with bright red eyes. I think his design is the weakest here, but that's just my opinion.

VILLAIN MONTH IS OFFICIALLY OVER! YES!

I'm going to go bleach my poor red eyes, now. ;D
