This was done for a contest. The object was to take any Nintendo game and make an old Atari box art version of it.
My original choice was either going to be Metroid or WarioWare, but my sketch for Metroid was looking terrible and WarioWare just didn't make sense to do and I couldn't come up with anything clever enough. So the other day, I was looking at my Balance Board and it came to me: Wii Fit!
No one expects fanart of Wii Fit, right? Especially fanart that misrepresents Wii Fit by claiming it has Basketball (it doesn't) and that there are heavily rad 80s dance and fitness instructors whose names are probably things like Brenda and Clarissa (there aren't T_T).
Since the Atari was around for both the 70s and 80s, I chose to include elements from both decades. I love Brenda (that's what I'm calling her). It's like a day-glo rainbow threw up on her. XD
And yes, that's Little Mac. A copy of Punch-Out!! for Wii is on the line, and since games won't be in my budget for a while, I'd really love to win this.
Yes, I spent more time on this than I probably should have. But dont' worry commissioners: you have not been forgotten.
Anyway, enjoy, full-view, and wish me luck!

Haha, that's probably all she does do with her live. XD
She was inspired by a Saturday Night Live skit featuring Drew Barrymore and Amy Poeler. It was a spoof of those horribly cheesy 80s fitness videos, and it was so funny. I'd like to it from YouTube, but I can't seem to find it.

I had thaught that might have been Little Mac in the corner there!

I wish they would make a game called Professor Layton and the Curious Case of Benjamin Button so I could finally find out why they decided to make that movie so long and boring.

Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
